Every girl deserves to know there is a place for her in sports.
FAST · HELPING EVERY GIRL FIND HER PLACE IN SPORTS
We use the power of sports to inspire confidence, build community, and develop the next generation of women leaders.
FAST is brand new, and that's exactly the point. We're building a community of girls from the ground up, and we want the girls who join early to help shape what it becomes: what we do, how we do it, and who we run this with. Have an idea for the program? We want to hear it.
Every girl deserves the confidence, resilience, leadership, and sense of belonging that sports can provide. Yet too many girls never begin, or leave sports far too early.
Some lose confidence.
Some struggle with body image.
Some don't see themselves represented.
Some never get real, honest answers about their own bodies.
Others simply don't realize there is a place for them beyond competing.
FAST is a growing movement dedicated to helping girls discover the many ways they can belong in sports, as more than just a player on the field.
Because sports need more than athletes.
Sports need leaders.
FAST empowers girls by using the lessons and values of sports to build confidence, develop leadership, create mentorship opportunities, and inspire lifelong involvement in the sports community.
A future where every girl knows there is a place for her in sports. Not just on the field, but throughout the entire sports community.
I've been involved in sports for as long as I can remember. Training, competing, all of it. And somewhere along the way I started noticing that sports were shaping me in ways that had nothing to do with medals or personal records.
They taught me how to work through disappointment, how to trust my teammates, how to lead by example, and how to keep showing up even when things didn't go my way. They gave me confidence, not just as an athlete, but as a person.
A few moments changed how I saw all of this.
I watched a video from Her Sport's #DoItForHer campaign, where young girls in Ireland were asked to name famous Irish female athletes. Most struggled to name more than one or two. Ask them about male athletes and the names came instantly. I couldn't stop thinking about that gap. How are girls supposed to dream as big as they should if they barely see female athletes celebrated the same way?
Then I heard Billie Jean King talk about what it actually means for girls to play sports long-term. She wasn't just talking about championships. She was talking about confidence, leadership, resilience, the fact that girls who play sports are more likely to become leaders in their careers and their communities later on. Sports weren't just prepping us for the next competition. They were prepping us for life.
The more I competed, the more I ran into challenges a lot of female athletes deal with but don't always talk about out loud. Balancing school and training. Understanding how our bodies change and how that affects performance. There were conversations that needed to happen that just weren't.
That's roughly where the idea for FAST started.
I wanted to build something bigger than one team, one sport, one school.
FAST exists because every girl deserves to know there's a place for her in sports, whatever that place looks like. There's a community waiting for her.
My hope is simple: that FAST helps more girls find confidence, build real friendships, find mentors, and realize the lessons sports teach stick around long after the final whistle. Sports don't just build better athletes. They build stronger leaders and more confident women.
If you've ever wondered whether there's a place for you in sports, there is. I hope FAST helps you find it. I'd love for you to be part of building it.
FLAGSHIP PROGRAM
An annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day experience, built specifically for high school girls, connecting them to every path sports has to offer, from leadership and mentorship to real conversations about training, nutrition, and the menstrual health topics that affect performance.
BUILT IN, NOT AN AFTERTHOUGHT
Community service is woven into FAST membership, not something bolted on. It's a way to connect with other girls, stay involved in the sports you love off the field, and build relationships that last well past a season. And for high schoolers, it counts: FAST is designed to help members earn real service hours along the way.
We're building relationships and partnerships from the ground up. If you believe in creating more opportunities for girls through sports, we'd love to connect.
Every girl deserves a place in sports.
Sports develop confident leaders.
We succeed by supporting one another.

We go further by working alongside others who share our purpose.
Whether you're interested in mentoring, speaking, volunteering, partnering, or simply following our journey, you're invited.
